AA-Auto Movers Fail to Deliver

I discussed the details of my move with Anthony in phone conversation and he indicated AA-Auto Movers could meet my needs. However, once he received my signed contract and sent a confirmation email, I was never able to contact Anthony, or anyone else at AA-Auto Movers, again. The confirmation email stated that they had received my signed order and accepted it into their dispatch system. They were to notify me as soon as they scheduled my auto transport with a carrier. The contract stated that they would not charge the required deposit until a carrier had been scheduled.

With my scheduled move date only five days away and not yet seeing a charge for the deposit, I started calling the customer support line at 877-744-7489 (option 2) in an effort to check the status of my order. I also tried other options available through their phone system only to reach voice mail each time. I was unable reach a person regardless of the time of day I called. Email inquiries went unanswered as well.

My move date has come and gone, I am now in Massachusetts, my car is still in Texas, and AA-Auto Movers has never shown me the courtesy of a return call or email explaining their failure to deliver the contracted service. All I would have asked is that they be straight forward with me. If they couldn't move my car, they simply needed to tell me so, allowing me the opportunity to make other arrangements. Instead AA-Auto Movers bound me to a contract they did not honor and left me hanging. That is no way to business!

We were unable to locate a carrier for this shipment and of course never charged a fee. Mr. Logan’s pickup window was 6/23 – 6/27/08. His contract expired on 6/27 so he was bound only through that date . On 7/2/08 he spoke with our CS representative and advised that he did not want to extend the contract or consider a COD raise that might attract drivers. As of the date he posted this review, 7/7, he said his vehicle is still in Texas. Since he read his contract well he knew that he was free to make other arrangements as of 6/28, but it would seem that he did not. We are sorry that we were unable to locate a carrier for him
