Dishonest, lies, and they escape and hide if you

This was a terrible experience.

I was specifically looking for the carrier to pick my car up on a specific date. I knew it was difficult to find a company to do so. But the AA-auto sales rep said he can do that. I made specific addendum in the contract what he said about the pick up date.But when I contacted the carrier (ACE) assigned, they said they cannot do that, and I have to contact AA-auto back. I did so. When I started to explain my problems and discrepancy, they put me on hold for a long long time. Finally they said they cannnot find the contract to say so or cannot pay the deposit back either. They hung up the phone on me.

I am a physician who works on tight schedules. I understand the other industry has their own schedule, too. But dishonesty in any industry is outrageous.
I guess, though, I may have to give up my $200 deposit. I am tired of explaining, and being on hold for a long time.........

This customer has fabricated an amazing story. The dishonesty and lies are by Ms. Watanabe. Her signed contract shows she agreed to a pickup window of 6/18 through 6/20/08 with a request for pickup by 6/20/08. Her shipment was dispatched for pickup 6/18 through 6/20, exactly as agreed. During a three-way conversation with our CS Rep and her transport company’s Dispatcher she wanted to know the exact date of pickup. She was told by the Dispatcher that it is too far from the agreed on pickup dates to know the exact date, they would know closer to the actual time and could answer her then – she was not told that it could not be done nor was she told that the contract could not be found. No one hung up on her. She has not cancelled the pickup.
