Worked just fine

AA Automovers did a good workmanlike job getting my car moved. I see both glowing accolades and horrible slams on this site about this company and I suspect both are overdone. I wasn't looking for a new best friend, just to get my car moved. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Not much more I could ask.

From reading the other reviews, I think the people who had problems just didn't take the time to understand the process. Read the order form and terms before you sign them. Ask questions if you don't understand something. Don't expect them to guess what you are thinking is going to happen, ask. I was hoping to stash a ton of stuff in my trunk for the move; I was disappointed that I couldn't, but glad I asked first.

I'm in a service business too. I once had a customer file a complaint against me because I wouldn't service his oil burner; in the complaint he didn't mention that he wasn't home when I got there (left door unlocked for me) and there was a nasty-looking dog chained in the basement near the burner.

Bottom line on this company is they did what they were supposed to do. My car got there in one piece. Everybody was pleasant enough but I didn't expect they were going to buy me dinner just move my car and they did.
