On April 23rd, I placed my order with Paul to have my car picked up. My first available pick up date was April 28th. I placed three calls to Paul to check the status of my order. One on May 3rd, the second on May 10th and the last call on May 14th to inquire if my order had been assigned. I was told that it had not and it may take time. Up to 68 days, if memory serves. Obviously, he was being facetious, but you can get an idea of where this is going. Before I submitted my $199 deposit, I was told that it generally takes 3-5 days to find a driver and an additional 5-7 days for the car to arrive. Perfectlly understandable timeline. As soon as he had my deposit, that's where any kind customer service ended. When I inquired as to how much longer it would take, I was treated like eveyrone else here who has given a bad review. I wasn't cussed at, surprisingly enough, but I was hung up on...twice. That's service, right? Needless to say, I cancelled my order. I asked for my deposit back and was told that wasn't going to happen. I inquired about initiating a charge back on my credit card and was told: "Go ahead, you don't normally win those anyway." Nice to know that this company has enough experience in charge backs to speak so intelligently as to know the most likely outcome of one. In summary, they will use their low quote to lure you in and feed you excuse after excuse as to why they're not fulfilling there end of the bargin. My favorite was: "None can do it cheaper, it's the busy season and you're going to Oregon, think about it." Then I was hung up on. Don't just take my advice, look at all of the negative reviews of this company. I'm a small business owner and I could never imagine running my company this way. Allstar transporting? I think not.
