1st time worked out pretty well actually

I looked around and read about transport companies, but didn't really know much more when I finished than when I began. I chose A2B because they had the least expensive quote, because of the testimonials on this site, and because of my discussion with Mike prior to deciding to have the car shipped. Mike was informative when I called just exploring the option of delivery vs. spending 26 hours one weekend behind the wheel. It ended up costing about $200 more to have it shipped than to fly and drive home. He explained the process, the expected time table, and generally what to expect. He helped with some questions I had about how to handle the payment remotely as well. When decide it was worth the money to ship, Mike found a carrier quicker than he'd expected. The original pickup had to be rescheduled because of a problem on my sellers end. Mike adjusted and was still able to schedule a pickup the day after the finincial transaction closed. The truck actually arrived the night the transaction closed. One of the things that could have been better was comminication. Once the shipment was in route, I didn't get any communication unless I initiated it. But, when I called Mike I always received a prompt response. The driver ended up driving my car the last 50 miles to my house vs. driving his truck through the city. I wasn't thrilled about that, but I was glad to have the car. Other than being dusty when it arrive, its condition was as I'd expected. And, the driver was friendly and courteous. Having never worked with another transport company, I don't know how this compares. I would certainly consider using A2B again were I to transport another car.
