Still awaiting refund- worst business experience in lifetime

This business is a discredit to the auto transportation industry- hope the bbb shuts it down. I had pleasant enough exchanges with Jennifer Larsen and Nataly in scheduling the May 9 pickup of my 2012 Subaru for my military move. Unfortunately a1a subcontracted with a carrier whose dispatcher had remarkably poor command of the English language. The carrier decided to change my date of pickup to two days before the scheduled pickup date (without checking with me as to whether the car would be available). The carrier then called late at night informing me that the driver would be picking my car up at 1130 pm on May 7 because that would be convenient for his schedule. This subcontractor stated A1A had indicated he could pick up my vehicle during a 5 day window, which included dates after my planned relocation. When the carrier became agitated at my declination to release my car at nearly midnight, I attempted to reach A1A customer service (touted as being available 24/7) for assistance, left multiple messages , and finally was able to get hold of someone 9 hrs later (was then told by two customer service reps someone would call right back- didn't happen ). Jennifer told me she spent a good deal of time engaging the carrier the next day trying to get them to pick up my car on the scheduled date, but they refused and were reportedly very rude to her as well. To remedy this, she said she would look for another carrier for my vehicle on the date we originally agreed upon. She was unable to do so. Interestingly, I, a humble layperson, was able to find another transportation company to ship my car immediately.Then I set about the business of claiming my $150 refund from A1A. Nothing but ridiculous run-around, and refusal to let me speak with accounting or a supervisor. Will be taking this up with my credit card company instead. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, friend or foe.
