My son is in the Marines and was transferred across the country and now waiting to deployed overseas. Like lots of parents of a young adult moving his Jeep fell upon me. Jon was very professional and knowledgeable. I had about 20 quotes by clicking on about 2 websites and asking for quotes. I narrowed down to Jon and A 1 Logistics because they had no Poor or Average Reviews, and you have to assume a good number of the 5 Stars are done by the carrier themselves or a friend to falsely boast up their rating.

One thing in reading negative reviews for all companies in general, I believe, most people don't understand this industry. First of all Truckers are the most independent breed of human being, making a cowboy look like a city slicker, they're open road truckers because they don't want anybody messing with them. Second, you're not even dealing with the trucker you're dealing with a broker who only has a fiduciary relationship with whatever trucker contacts him about picking up your vehicle. Third, if you expect to use your car today, catch a flight out of Atlanta, GA tomorrow, and then expect your car to be in San Francisco, CA at a a specified time in 3 days, you're going to be unhappy. If you understand that you need to be flexible on the pick-up and drop-off dates and times you'll have a good experience, you can't expect the driver to have an open spot on his trailer going across the country and him get a call that means he'll be full, but put him a day late to turn down the vehicle, be realistic. You can't please some people, but if you want to deal with a trucking company directly, go to one of the enclosed carriers and get a quote, it'll come back at about triple the price, you decide, flexibility or spend more money.

I was pleased with all aspects of dealing with A-1 Logistics and would recommend them.
