Really bad company

The car was 7 days late, arrived with ashes inside from someone smoking in it, and the communication from the company during transport was nonexistent. Read on for details: I was told the transport would take 5-7 days. On day 10 I called and was told the truck had broken down in California. Each time I called for information I was told something different - the driver doesn't have to check in until noon, you can only get updates online, no one is here to talk to you until 1:00, etc. etc. The "satellite tracking" line is bullsh*t, when I tried to get an update online the reply was "the vehicle is on route and will arrive 1-3 days." No help at all. Finally on day 14, the car arrived - with the front seat leaning back and ASHES ALL OVER THE FLOOR IN THE FRONT AND A BURN STRIPE ON THE BACK SEAT. The driver, or someone else, had been sleeping and smoking in my car! I called Crystal at A-1, telling her what happened. "I'm sorry" was all she said, no effort at all to make it right. This is not a broker. These are her trucks, her drivers, her responsibility. Do not use this company, they are unreliable, the receptionist was rude to me and would not give me the phone number of the delivery terminal when I asked, the communication was nonexistent (no email when the truck broke down), and the driver behaved completely inappropriately in my vehicle. He didn't even attempt to clean up after himself. Find another company.
