Shipped my car from Orlando, FL to Portland OR.
Price was good. Had shipping insurance an all. Was $1,000 shipped
The day my car arrived I received a call from the guys who hold the vehicle until you pick it up. They state the car was damaged upon arrival they aren't sure when it was damaged.
My car had a broken out rear window water damage because they never covered the window. Plus a missing stereo system and speakers and scratches on the rear where they removed the stereo.
Long story short. a1 auto transport did not cover any of the damges. They would always say someone will contact me which they never did. Or they pass it along. Eventually they said the claims guy doesn't work for the company anymore and blamed it on him for not doing his job. I had to use my normal car insurance to get the damage covered.
Everytime you call them they won't say anything to you until they have your transport like claim ID or whatever they call it. As soon as they have that and know you are a damaged vehicle they change their tone and quickly try to get you off the phone.
Do not go through them!!!
