This was my first time shipping a car across country and it was the worst experience in my life. I admit I was naive and fell for the scam blindly. They wanted my checking account information right away. In hindsight that was all they really cared about. They took out the full amount quoted for transportation before they even came to pick up the car (1,059.00). When someone finally did come to pick up my car they refused to take it because I had packed some personal items in the back. At that point I was fed up and said I just wanted to cancel the order. The guy who came to pick up the car said I would have to call the company directly to cancel. When I did call I was transferred to a very nasty man who screamed and yelled at me and said that I signed the contract and would not get my money back and hung up on me. When I called back again I told him that I would forfeit the $250.00 cancellation fee but I wanted an immediate refund of the remainder of the money $809.00. He said I had to submit a written request which I did. Then I never heard back from them at all. They kept saying it took a long time to process a refund and to be patient. I then contacted the Better Business Bureau who attempted to resolve the matter but was unsuccessful and received no response from the company. Every time you call you are transferred to several different people none who claim to be able to help you. The person who handles refunds is apparently never available to talk to. I still haven't received my refund and it has been almost 3 months from the original order where they took out the money from my checking account. They are LIARS and THEIVES!!!
