Worst Company I've Ever Dealt With

If you do nothing else in life, avoid any and all dealings with A Blue Knight. This company at a minimum is either the most incompetent company in New York or at a worst, a company that makes money by tricking people out of their deposits.

The company never picked up my vehicle. I would call and inquire and they would say that it was to be picked up tomorrow, going to pick it up tomorrow. They never picked it up.

After asking to be let out of my contract they said they would let me out but that I had to forfeit my $250 deposit. I hired another company (for less money) and they picked up my car in one day. By this time my contract had expired with A Blue Knight and they had yet to return my deposit.

I told them I was going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and transportreview.com. They told me that if I did that they would sue me for slander. That they would only return my deposit if I promised to not file my complaints.

My attorney advised either taking them to small claims court or having my bank go after the funds. After informing A Blue Knight of my plans they called my bank and told them that they would sue them as well. Almost two months later they finally send my deposit back, but only after my attorney threatened legal action.

This is the most malicious company I've ever dealt with. They are rude (hang up on you), incompetent (cant schedule a delivery), and litigious (threatened two different lawsuits). I have emails saved if anyone wants additional documentation as to why to avoid this company.

They are "Proud Members" of the Fair Business Association of America. Wikipedia says the Fair Business Association of America " is reported to solicit companies in poor standing with the BBB to give their company a more respectable image in the consumers' eyes."

Avoid this company at all costs. In my opinion, they're primary business isn't moving cars, it's finding a way to keep deposits.

Feel free to contact me if you would like details or documentation. My attorney is also available should you feel the need to contact him.
