I was a customer back in June 2008 and when I dealt with these people, they were rude, unprofessional, and lied to people they dealt with, and the company did not go by A Blue Knight Auto Carrier then.

Unfortunately, I did not check this company out through the Better Business Bureau and made the mistake of signing a contract with them and letting agreed to have them electronically transfer money from my checking account in the amount of $1,190.00. The money was transferred from my account the very next day and even before the contract was back in their hands.

My scheduled pickup never happened and when I was able to cancel the contract after 14 business days without penalties and able to get my full refund. That is when all the hassle started about my refund. I faxed them as requested and gave them a month or so to process this. That is when the stories of deception and lies started. I would call them to speak to bookkeeping and they would be gone, so I would leave a message. Then when I would call back, I'm told they are there only on Mondays and Thursdays. However, I would call on those days and the owner/bookkeeper, Margaruite Cermola/Scalfani would be on the other line or went home early.
I would leave messages for call backs and that never happened. I would call again and same story is given to me, that she is on another line, went home, or would call me back soon.

The last time I called, before taking action, I spoke to Mr. Scalfani himself. I was told that if I continued to call, e-mail, and harass them that I would not get my refund.

So I filed with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney Generals Office of New York, FMCSA Motor Carrier, Consumer Affairs , Transport Claims Administrations, and the State Consumer Protection Board of NY.

After waiting from the initial contract date of March 17, 2008, when I signed the contract and filing with all of the above, I finally received a check for my full refund of $1,190.00 on June 30, 2008.

Now this is were it gets interesting and I can faxed you a copy or send one my e-mail, but my check was written on A Blue Knight Auto Carrier, Inc. with the 255 Bayville Ave, Bayville, NY address, however, it was sent in an envelope with the return address of A Eastern Connection, Inc. with the same address.

If you go to the Better Business Bureau website and look up the company you will see the alias that they go by as well as the owners being the same crooks who deal with various names this company goes by. Again, same company, same owners, same lies.

Also, look at the company names under transport review website and you will also see the other names they go by with the same MC number 252857 and well as government license and insurance information.

Also take a look at the time on site in their reviews for each of the company names they have gone by. The latest one A Blue Knight Auto carrier has only been since Dec 2008.

This company has done people wrong under various names they have gone by and they will just keep switching their company name and cheating people out of their hard earn dollars till someone puts a stop to it.
