Dead on Late Arrival

This transport company is just a middle man (which they don't advertise). I specifically told them I needed the car delivered by x date and to pick it up whenever they needed in order for it to arrive by that date. They picked it up on the last day possible and delivered it several days after it had been promised. Screwed up my plan and had to rent a vehicle during the interim. They couldn't tell me where my vehicle was during transit, all along telling me it would arrive in time. They don't work weekends either. And the car was dead on arrival when it was delivered (Battery).

You would think a prior customer with an order to ship two cars would have been treated better!

Given they just middle man the deal, they basically didn't care, as long as they got their cut. Next time will make sure the person I'm dealing with works for the company that will be delivering my vehicle.

Do not recommend.

I could find this order in our system because it was so old.Why someone would wait almost 2 years to place a negative review is unbelievable to say the least. On top of that it is placed on a review site that is totally unfair and is only concerned in their own profit. I can only assume that Jeffery is either ignorant, stupid, or just a plain liar. I will address each lie in order. 1/This transport company is just a middle man (which they don't advertise). This is Lie # 1 The first sentence on our website says the following: A Across USA Auto Transport is a family owned and operated auto transport brokerage. It is also stated on our email advertising. 2/ They picked it up on the last day possible and delivered it several days after it had been promised. This is Lie # 2 No one has ever or will ever be promised a delivery date by our company. The following was sent to Jeffrey when he received his quote: Unfortunately, as with every form of transportation, we have to deal with various uncontrollable situations (such as bad weather, breakdowns, traffic, sickness, etc.) which affects the pickup window and delivery estimates. However, we try to keep on schedule whenever possible. We suggest that you have an alternate person to release or receive your vehicle should this occur. 3/ They couldn't tell me where my vehicle was during transit, all along telling me it would arrive in time. This is Lie #3 As a broker we can only relay the information that we receive from the carrier. If they lie to us, we have no way of knowing. Last but not least, the dead battery is our fault. What a joke! If anyone has any questions please call 800-243-0066 and ask for Jack.
