Company Response

Mr. Pruitt was told that delivery could take up to 2 weeks. Today is 2 weeks since it was picked up. The reason I don’t advertise on Transport Reviews anymore is because of trouble makers like Mr. Pruitt. Some people have nothing better to do than complain. Mr. Pruitt evidently didn’t read the terms and condition which said the following: 3. Unfortunately, as with every form of transportation, we have to deal with various uncontrollable situations (such as bad weather, breakdowns, traffic, sickness, etc.) which affects the pickup window and delivery estimates. However, we try to keep on schedule whenever possible. 5. Across USA shall use its best efforts to arrange to have the vehicle(s) picked up within the scheduled window. Although we are able to provide an estimated delivery date, the Carrier cannot guarantee a delivery date. Shipper understands that the Carrier is subject to delays beyond it’s control, due to weather, road condition, mechanical breakdowns or repairs to tractor/trailer equipment, supply and demand of trucks and drivers, etc. in regard to pick-up windows and delivery. Mr. Pruitt also must have forgotten to show these emails with his comments: You need to know that I have many friends that work for the OR Dept of Justice and they can shut your business down in less than 24 hours. Like I said, you should know your customer prior to conducting your kind of deceptive practices with them. Good luck in the future. - - -Original Message- - - >From: Ryan >Sent: Sep 13, 2010 12:31 PM >To: Rob Pruitt >Subject: Re: Vehicle Dispatched > >It's going to be delivered Thursday or Friday. The answer below should play well on certain websites. Hope you liked your previous A+ BBB rating. You people should find out who you are screwing with prior to screwing them. I WILL cost your company so much more money than you could have ever possibly made off me. Thanks. BY THE WAY, ACROSS USA HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DELAY!!!!
