Talked to RYAN SIKORA and gave my deposit on the 19th of April. Scheduled Pick up on April 30. 3 Days before the scheduled pick up, I called Ryan asking him if they have assigned a carrier for the shipment. He told me, he will send me an email if the pick up has already been assigned. Yes, I got the email that a transport has already been assign…Problem is this email came in on April 30-same day as the pick up date. Ok, I thought its probably ok since they have a window time of pick up of 3 days, so I’m expecting my car to be on its way by May 3. By the way I also called the transport dispatch assigned for pick up on the 30th of April, he told me that he will be able to pick it up on the 3rd or 4th of May. So I said its ok, a delay of 1 day wont matter (this is after the 3 day expected pick up period). Called the driver again on the 3rd of May asked him if he is able to pick up the car that day or atleast the next day. The truck driver told me he can’t at least for a couple more days since he has a lot more deliveries to do. I said ok, ask him when is the probable time he can make the pick up; he cant give any assurance. Out of frustration, I ask him if he can get the car on the 6th of May (Remember this is 6 days after the Pick Up date), the driver still can’t make any assurance.

I’m moving to another state, and my scheduled flight is on the 6th of May. Thought 6 days will be enough to have this accomplish, however this was not the case. So I called Ryan and told him of the problem. Basically he said he can’t do anything about it and offered me to resched my pick up which he said would take another week and another $100 for scheduling fee, bottomline I’m screwed (At this point I know this people are trying to Milk me for some more dough). And I ask him that I want to cancel my shipment cause it is not the service that I was expecting, and asked for the refund. Ryan said its non refundable because they have already assign the pick up to a carrier. I even talked to the manager JACK DEINUM, he said they earned the deposit because their job is just to assign the pick up to a carrier and after that “YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN.” Got ripped off for $175.

And the funny thing is this people brag that they are one of the best in the business!!! What a shame!!! BTW, changed my mover to AA Automovers- -Got my car picked up the very next day, I placed the order for shipment.

To be honest, most of what Mr. Moselina had to say was not far from the truth. However, when he placed the order the following was part of the contract: Try to give us at least a 3 day window to pick up your vehicle. (This means that your vehicle should be available for a 3 day time period.) It doesn’t mean that you have to stay home for 3 days. THIS WINDOW IS NOT GUARANTEED. Please have an alternate person to release you vehicle should there be a delay. It also said the following: The deposit (broker fee) for your transport is fully refundable until your vehicle has been scheduled on a Carrier. Cancellation of order must be in writing by e-mail or fax. When he placed the order the following email was sent to him. It read as follows: We understand that your 2009 Toyota Prius will be available for pickup on or after 4/30/2010. Be sure to have an alternate pick up contact should we be unable to meet your pick up window. Mr. Moselina never cancelled the order by e-mail or fax. Mr Moselina didn't have an alternate person to release his vehicle. If he had cancelled before the scheduling he would have been refunded. Mr. Moselina thinks he can make his own rules. Unfortunately all carriers run into delays at times. That is why our window is not guaranteed. A 2 or 3 day delay is not uncommon in the transport business. Finally, Mr.Moselina was never told by me that he was on his own. That is an outright lie! His car would have been picked up on 5/5 or 5/6 if he had not gone with another carrier. That is a 2-3 day delay. Sincerely, Jack Deinum
