I hired this company to transport my car from CA to MA last month and I've been having a nightmare since. I'm considering some kind of legal action against them, your advices and comments on how to deal with them are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Summary of damages: 11 days after schedule of delivery, approximately 1100 miles were driven, smoking (my car is a non-smoking car), interior physical damages, food/drink spillage, emptied my full gas tank. I have documents to support all of these claims including photos, witnesses, car service records before shipping...
After submitting my claims with the supporting documents to a guy named Scott Wilcox and after 3 un-answered emails and 5 un-answered phone calls over a period of 2 weeks, I got an email from Scott Wilcox saying that 1. they didn't inspect the electrical, mechanical or interior before picking up therefore they are not responsible for any damage. In other words, if I want to claim for any interior damage, engine damage, smoking etc, I have to take pictures of every single part of the car including the interior and the engine. As of the smoking problem, I have to get a certified chemical test. 2. they didn't write down the mileage before shipping, therefore they are not responsible for it. The supporting documents such as car service record three days before shipping, as well as the mileage written on the windshield are not good enough for them. By the way, in their shipping form, there is not option for writing down the mileage on the form.
In short, since their driver said that he didn't drive the car, all of the evidences are irrelevant.
