I used A_AAA auto early in 2009 to transport my son's car from Illinois to Virginia for college. I couldn't use them for fall school year 2009 because of cost and used a different broker/carrier. I WISH I HAD STUCK WITH A-AAA because they were honest and on time for pick-up and delivery. With the less expensive company we experienced 24 hour tardiness pick-up and a conflict dollar amount of $50.00 on our contract compared to the contract of the carrier! Not huge but a contract is binding. The carrier had to chalk up the monetary loss. I would name the company that caused me stress after they have my deposit/contract and kept in touch daily before they secured my signed contract/deposit but I don't think it's appropriate.
I understand that things legitimately go wrong in the real world but brokers/carriers should keep in touch when there is a problem so you can have the option to rearrange your day. Therefore, I highly recommend A-AAA with confidence.
