Originally I wrote a review and I was highly upset at the way I was treated by some of the support staff...I am not sure if I was being given the run around on purpose or if they were not sure of the information. I need to point out that I did speak with MARINA L. on dispatch about how upset I was and she was very sympathetic about any misunderstanding and very sweet. She offered to fix the mix up and was unable to- but she kept her word and called back to update me on the information. She was not orginally involved in the order but I just wanted to recognize her kindess and promptness. Her customer service skills were excellent. Shortly after I was contacted by MIKE S. who originally had my order. I had not been able to be in contact with him on the particular day of pick up- but once learning of what happened he did immediatly email me this :

I wanted to touch basis with you I was not aware that the driver never pick you up , I will make sure you get your deposit back I spoke with the driver and he actually made a mistake and over book his truck witch cause us to be left out in the cold. I will honor everything I said to you I will refund the deposit even if it does comes out of my pocket, I also serve in the Marines and I know to take care of my brothers in arms but I do assure you this is not a scam or me being a Con Artist!! I beg your pardon I never had a situation like this in the last 3 years, and believe me this was never our intentions, we did had a driver that did not complied with our agreement and our dispatch department was under a lot of pressure to resolved the problem yesterday it was being work by 4 agents to get it fixed but you just wanted to cancel. We had another truck for this morning but I guess that was no longer an option. I definitely understand your frustration I will have your deposit set back in your account I just need you to also remove the negative review that it really don’t do any justice to the way we go about doing business. This has never happened to me I always get the Job done! I’m not perfect and even do this was not my fault it was actually the drivers fault for overbooking and not helping getting you pick-up it landed the problem on my lap since I was your contact person! I have many stars of my own and the Congressional Star of Honor , I’m not a kid!! I been in some hard spots but I will never let anyone else hurt for my benefit so keep that in mind….

He was true to his word and put things into action. My refund was sent back to me in full. I wanted to write a second review because I think he deserves recognition for getting things back in place. I am still unsure who the original person was that took the call when I called about the mixup/refund....but he should probably be fired. He lacks customer service skills or compassion. He was definatly not someone I would do business with.

Thank you MIKE for refunding us and reaching back out to us and I am sorry we did not get to work together in the end. I would recommend that George be a little more studious about keeping customers updated when you are out of office as most of the mix up started there when he failed to follow up while you were out of office.

This is a scary business because you have to pay alot of money to strangers but I am happy to see that 7 Star did resolve the situation asap!
