This was my first time shipping a car long distance so I did some research before I purchased the car(a 1969 Karmann Ghia). I am quite particular about my cars and decided to ship it in a closed truck. Many of the quotes I got charged extra for door-to-door shipping or insurance and some required weeks of lay over time. The person I bought the car from recommended 5 Star Nationwide to me and told me to ask for Gilbert. From start to finish, Gilbert explained every step of the move, didn't have any hidden extra charges, and was by far the most reasonable at $1299. Other companies wanted $2000 or more. This was a difficult pick up and Gilbert came through exactly as promised. He is the BEST!! The order number was 187765. The driver, Ivan, was very professional. He picked up and delivered the car using the same truck. No switching trucks or letting the car sit somewhere for days. The car arrived in perfect condition. Don't bother looking anywhere else just call 5 Star Nationwide.
