5 Star Auto Movers quoted us a $150 deposit and $400 cash to the driver. It took them over a week to finally get our vehicle picked up in Iowa (with little contact from 5 Star as to what the problem was other than weather). When the driver called my husband to arrange a meeting he told him it would be $800! Not the $400 we were quoted. He said he would not unload our vehicle for anything less!! My husband had our contract from 5 Star stating that we owed $400 and the driver had a contract from 5 Star saying we owed the driver $800. When my husband finally got a hold of Kelly at 5 Star she said it was a mistake on the drivers contract and they would wire $250 to the drivers account but we would have to cover the other $150!! At this point we just wanted our vehicle so we paid the driver a $150 and waited for 5 Star to wire the $250, which they did. Why they couldn't wire the additional $400 I don't know. I would certainly not use them again.
