1/25/10 I Talked with Greg and told him that the car did not start but could be steered and rolled. Was told $950.00 as total price , and would be charged $150.00 deposit on pick up and would owe the driver $800.00 on delivery. Was told that I would here from him later. Called on the 26th was told that he would call later. Waited for a response had an e-mail stating that 1/27/10 car would be picked up. On the 27th Called and then was told that it would be 2 to 5 days, but for an additional $100.00 to $150.00 pick up would be confirmed for that day. was told that they would call back. Heard nothing checked emails found that a shipping company would pick it up. Was charged $150.00 before car was even picked up and that now I would owe the driver $950.00 on delivery. Called and left a message with the delivery company that day , no answer. On the 28th called the delivery company and was told in about 2 hours they will get the car, and due to weather the night before they could not get the car. Told again the person that sold me the car that they were coming befor 5.30pm CA time. No show and did not get a return answere. On the 29th Called first class explained very politly that they charged the deposit $150.00 still no car pick up and that I have to pay $150.00 more than original price on a car that was not running as foretold. They actually called back 15min later saying that it would be picked up on the 29th in the afternoon. Recived a call from the person that sold me the car very concerned stating that the shipping company was sending out a small trailer to pick up the car. When he asked where is the car carrier was; he was told that they would use a fork lift to put my classic car on the car carrier after the small trailer delivered it; And that it was only and 1984. The reason it was bought was because of a solid chassie not bent up, a very clean shell(term used in the automotive collector industry). Regaurdless who uses a fork lift to lift a car. Called first class got no answer left a message. Called back later and left a message to cancel everything, still unable to get through. Sad thing is I choose these people be cause of the 5 star rating.
