I just canceled my order after three weeks with no pick up. I'm sure this particular route was a difficult one - that's not the issue. I would have appreciated a heads up when they first booked the order. I wasn't informed of the difficulty that the route might impose until after a week after the initial pickup date when I called them. Had I been informed, I might have been able to make contingency plans. As it is now, I'll have to pay quite a bit more for airfare to go get the vehicle myself. I was never charged , and the agents were friendly, but the bottom line is that the job didn't get done. I was also not aware that posting a vehicle to be moved with a broker does little more than get it posted to trucking boards. I would probably try to go with a specific trucking company next time. They never initiated contact with me to keep me posted on the progress or lack of progress of my order. I always had to call them for any information. I'm not sure what the value of the broker is in a case like this. Maybe for a very simple route, they could have gotten the job done, but then, what would be the reason for paying their fees?
