The car was received in good order on Tuesday, August 30 in Alexandria, VA after having been picked up by the transporter in San Diego, CA on Monday, August 22. The transporter was Arizona Auto Transport, which replaced the originally scheduled transporter (I think that it was Unique Auto) after the first company reneged on the deal. The people at 1st Choice Shipping were very helpful and obviously worked hard in arranging a replacement. The driver for Arizona Auto was named Ronnie, and he was great to work with by providing me with updates, etc. as he drove across the country. It should also be noted that he had to contend with the then pending threat of Hurricane Katrina, which was a major unkown factor at the time. His route took him across Mississippi and Alabama on his way to Atlanta, so the threat from the storm was quite real.

All in all, a positive experience, with delivery actually about one day earlier than I had anticipated. Thanks!
