Many Promises, but Could Not Deliver

After waiting 3 weeks for another transport company to ship my vehicle (see my review of America's Choice), I called 1st Choice to see if they could help me get my car. They were very sympathetic and friendly and told me that they could help me. They said that it could be picked up within the week and that they would work on it.

Unfortunately, each time I called I was told that they were waiting to hear back from a driver, or one was in NY and could probably pick up my vehicle, etc. etc. For 2 weeks they led me to believe that they could handle the order. Finally, they stopped calling me back and when I finally got ahold of them they came up with all kinds of excuses as to why my car hadn't been picked up yet (busy summer, not many drivers go to Seattle, WA, etc. etc.). That may be the case, but I wish they had been honest with me and not made promises they couldn't keep.

My advice: find an auto transport company that either owns their own trucks, or has contracts with various drivers. That way you are guaranteed pick up instead of using these brokers that just post your info on some big distribution board and hope they get a driver to pick up your vehicle. This has been a nightmare of an experience - it's taken at least 7 weeks to get my car.

We completely understand your frustration, however if you remember back when you orginally called in to place your order with us we told you we could not accept your order (that is why we did not take a complete order or send you a contract). We knew the route your vehicle was running was a tuff route at the time and we told you we would work on it. However we never gave any promises nor did we take any dposoits for that reason, we hope everything did go well with your transport!
