This was the first time I've ever needed to ship my car anywhere. Based on the reviews I found here, I chose Eric Sailer and 1st Call Auto Haul. Not disappointed in the least bit. At every turn Eric was available to patiently answer my questions. I can't imagine how many times he must get asked the same thing over and over by people, but he treated me with patience, respect and straightforwardness. Only downside was some minor scheduling difficulty in arranging a time and location for pickup, but I accepted it as the difficulty of living in Manhattan and how challenging and costly it is to get trucks in and out of here. Finally, the delivery driver waited an hour on the street for us to get home to meet the car's arrival. So overall, my experience was sort of like buying a Mac computer for the first time... You just find that you'd never go with anything else ever again.
