1Flat-Rate is simply one of the best companies I have ever worked with and I deal with hundreds per year in my business.

I wanted to transport a car I just purchased from Ohio to California. I received many, many calls but I used common sense and checked them out with the Better Business Bureau and found that, in many cases, they had an "F" rating. Perusing the bbb.org is how I found 1flat-rate.com.

I visited their website and met the owner, Ray McGlinchey. What impressed me about was the fact that he did not come across like the stereotype of a used car salesman. He was up front and honest about the challenges in the business and did not charge a dime until the car is delivered. He first explained how the broker transport business works and then gave me a very acceptable maximum price based on the time frame I wanted the car delivered. His maximum price was about $50.00 higher than some of the others but he told me if he could find it for less, he would.

Within a day he had found a carrier that was reliable and also communicated with me until deliver, one day earlier.

In summary1Flat-rate:

1.Provided an estimate and came in lower. (850 but charged 800) Others were less but I just paid tens of thousands for a great car and did not want to chance a mishap.
2.Kept me up-to-date as to the status of my vehicle from pickup to deliver.
3.Took control of the process from beginning to end.
3.Delivered my car a day earlier than expected, in one piece and in perfect condition.
