I contacted many companies in this process and have transported vehicles before. Many of the quotes were similar, closer to $700 and more. Ray of 1Flat-Rate explained the nature of the business to me and that if there wasn't a sense of urgency or a "must date" for delivery, he can negotiate the fees lower and he did. While the first truck to pic up broke down the day of pickup, Ray had a backup the very next day. He was in constant communication and even if the drivers indicated they communicated with me (which sometimes they did not!) Ray was in constant communication and kept me updated.

It was a very simple process overall using Ray and 1Flat-Rate, and I would recommend him to anyone. Overally, you really never know who the drivers are, and they are hired through transport brokers like Ray. So having a great point of contact and communication was very helpful.
