I needed to transport a small truck from CA to NC. Ray at 1-Flat Rate, LLC. was very courteous and honest up front. It says a lot about a company that always answers phone calls on the first or second ring and responds to emails within minutes. Not only did Ray provide me with accurate information he also made true on his word about scheduling a carrier. Ray gave me an idea of the time frame to dispatch and delivery and insisted that I would not have to pay for anything until my truck was delivered in satisfactory condition. I was contacted by Stephany as soon as a driver was dispatched (well within the timeframe Ray had given) and sent the drivers contact info and insurance info promptly.

I elected to pay by credit card which required me to give my information upfront for preauthorization. I had my concerns about this and Stephany explained the situation and set my mind at ease. If I had elected to pay by cash I would not have had to give any financial information upfront just pay the driver, but the use of a CC was convenient and better suited my needs.

I know that once a driver is dispatched the movement of the vehicle is really beyond their control, but I never felt that 1-Flat Rate was unavailable. They were always reachable by phone or email.

The driver they dispatched was amazing. He could not get his truck into the area where my elderly parents live, so he walked about a quarter mile to their house met with my father, inspected the vehicle and drove it out of the neighborhood to load. He said that it was easier for him to walk than them and I have to agree, although they would have met him anywhere. It was a great experience for my parents, they were very impressed with the ease of the process and the professionalism of the driver.

I was contacted by the driver before he loaded the vehicle and again when he was on the road. He gave me an estimate of the time to delivery and was on time, in fact he offered to deliver a day early but I missed his call and couldn't meet him. He delivered my truck in the same condition it was shipped, without damage and more importantly, on-time!

As soon as the vehicle was delivered Stephany sent an email to confirm delivery and follow up.

1-Flat Rate, LLC., Ray and Stephany made the process of shipping my vehicle ULTRA-SMOOTH. I can't say enough about how good my experience was.
