BE AWARE! I highly recommend to use a different company. I had a horrible time with Horizon Auto Shipping . I cleaned my car, had it looking nice. When the driver picked up my car, he even mentioned that the car was clean, and that it looked like a new car. The driver takes my car to the Dallas vehicle processing center. They say it’s dirty and needs to be cleaned. So on the way from San Antonio to Dallas, my car got dirty. How am I responsible for this? The driver had other places he needed to go so they drop my car off at some auto yard to get my car washed. They charged me $120 for the car wash and having to have the auto yard drive my vehicle back to the vehicle processing center! Over the phone the driver said it would be around $25, but they charged me $120 without even calling me. That’s on top of what I paid them originally. I will never use this company again, and I hope no one else does either. They can charge you whatever they want since they have your credit card information already before you have them pick up your car. I complained to the company and they only offered to refund me $20. I would rather show everyone how bad this company is than take the $20.

We take great pride in helping our military members move their vehicles. This customer was provided clear and easy to follow instructions on preparing his car for delivery to a military Vehicle Processing Center. Unfortunately he did not follow them. This resulted in delays, a driver having to spend valuable time processing a car that could not be accepted and taking away time from employees at the processing center that could have been used assisting military members whose cars were ready to ship. This vehicle had to be reloaded and driven to another facility to be cleaned and have gas removed, both items explained on the “Preparing your car for delivery to the VPC” checklist. As usual, failure to follow and complete instructions can result in fees. These fees were charged to our company due to his noncompliance. We attempted to work with this customer to reach a friendly resolution but were instead met with stubborn refusal to accept any responsibility for his actions. We regret that he had to pay the additional fees but as a he is a member of our armed forces we assumed he could follow instructions the first time.
