When first calling Pristine Auto Transport I made contact with Rene Sedano and told him that I have a 1954 4 door belair to get picked up in Connecticut and hauled to Wisconsin, I also told him that it had a rolling chassis but not drivable , from the fire wall forward fenders were off , both bumpers off , inner wheel wells off, belly pan off, and other parts were boxed up and extra rims & tires off the car and needed to be loaded in trailer for the trip. First Rene Sedano told me total price to ship my 1954 chevy belair from Suffiuld Ct. to Middleton Wi. is $1300.00 with no additional fees and sent me a quote which I requested. I thought great I a good company to work with. Then some time went by and I called Rene Sedano back to hear the progress on the transport . Rene Sedano said to keep the ball rolling I would have to sign a consulting service fee that he faxed to me and then fax back to him. I did so because he told me he had a driver waiting for the contract to be signed , but the price went up to $1400.00 I said What up to $1400.00 and never received any quote. At this time he told me the car would be picked up between 2:00 P.M. & 3:00 P.M. EST. I started to wonder about this Rene Sedano. 2:00 came & went 3:00 came & went. So I called my people in Ct. and asked them did you here from the driver yet. They replied no. So I called back Rene Sedano and he told me it would be picked up tonight. Car was not picked up and no one called. The next day I called back again to Rene Sedano,s phone went to voice mail . So at this time I am NOT HAPPY at all. So I called back again and found out from another employee which I forgot to get there name because of the stress I was feeling. Come to find out Rene Sedano never had a driver waiting for the contract to be signed so he could pick up my car. He flat out LIED to me. Now I am "PISSED OFF". Then I was put in contact with Nick Gomez and he apologized to me how things were handled. Then Nick said that he has a driver but the price went up again to $1800.00 for the driver plus $200.00 for consulting fee. Total $2000.00 and did not receive a revised quote. When is this going to end. Nick Gomez assured me that the car would be picked up by 2:00 P.M. It was. At this time Jestina Franks called and told me she was going to take out the consulting fee out of my account. I might add Nick Gomez & Jestina Franks treated me and acted like professionals and should be commended for there actions. As for Rene Sedano I have no "comment". To finish up on this matter the driver did show up on time and picked the car and parts. He called to let me know that he would be delivering the car around 2:00 P.M. or 3:00 P.M. Then I received a call back and told me that it would be later around 6:00 P.M. He finally showed up at 9:00 P.M. After unloading it was 10:30 P.M.
What a ordeal.
