I would not recommend Better Way. They are dishonest cheats!!!

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. Initially I had numerous calls to get my order and deposit by being told that they already had a driver willing to pick up my vehicle. In good faith I placed my order with Better way and gave them my deposit. Come pick up day, I called only to find out that they don't have a truck anymore because the truck they had for me apparently had some "car trouble" and was stuck somewhere. I was originally quoted a low price of $500, and told things would go smoothly and all. On the actual pick up day, I was told, sorry none of the truck drivers are willing to move cars at such low prices and all that nonsense. If I was able to pay $850 then I would be able to get my car moved because they just found a truck. This is such nonsense. They dupe you into believing everything is set. Then no one calls you to check on anything, the truck driver they said they had for me didn't contact me either. I feel cheated and deceived. This is a terrible way of dealing with honest folk just trying to get their cars moved. It is the worst thing to have this sprung up you on the day when you expect your car to be picked up. The entire week before pick up no one tried to contact me to let me know anything. In fact I had to call them to check if everything is set. I am very upset and angry about this. I needed to get my car to FL urgently because of work reasons. Now because of this company I will have to spend the time and money to drive it down there myself, or try to find someone who will get it there for me in time, of course for a much higher cost.
I would definitely not recommend this company. I had read some bad reviews before i went with them but i just chalked it up to dissatisfied customers. But now i realize why they had bad reviews. It is best to go with companies that do not take your deposit upfront and only take your money once they actually have a truck for you. This was a very unprofessional way of dealing with customers and I am not happy at all.
Again, I stress please do not use this company. There are plenty of companies out there that do not function is such a manner.
UPDATE: So, its been over 3 weeks and I have not received a refund from them for my deposit. Also they tried to take my review down by claiming that "i am not a customer of theirs", very classy! I forwarded transport reviews.com all the supporting documentation I had and they put my review back up. I would once again like to appeal to everyone not to use their service. Do not trust them!!

We are in Miami, and unfortunately due to the storm we were on a 3 day back-up and apologize again for any inconveniences.
