Read the other reviews and you will see the same MO! Harvey outright LIES to you. Quoting you a price and then he sends over the contract. I printed it out and read over EACH line. There were 2 areas of concern and one of them was line 15 which talked about raising the price. But it was vague how much. I wrote to Harvey immediately and he said "You and I have an agreed price and that won't change". Truck gets picked up and then I get another email and here is where SAM enters the picture. This guy is already prepared for you to be pissed off so expect it. He tried to tell me it was my fault as I didn't read the contract. That I was lucky it wasn't more!!! So I tried to get back in touch with Harvey who now wants nothing to do with it at all and tries to push it off on the contract and he didn't promise anything. Harvey is a conman, a pathological liar so be ready for it.

I have to say this as well. My truck driver was awesome! This has NOTHING to do with Tristar's group of con artists'. My driver picked my truck up on Tuesday from PA and it was in AZ on Friday. He was as sweet and helpful as he could be. I told him what happened and he actually told me how it worked and pulled up my truck on his computer. So, basically Tristar takes your info and puts it up on a site that the trucker's look at and they decide if they want to pick up your truck/car whatever. If it works for the trucker he contacts the company and says he or she will do it. NOW the price for to the driver is already in the computer. The trucker doesn't have anything to do with it. He/She sees what the offer is and decides if he/she wants it. My driver pulled up my info and Harvey had listed my truck for 1,100 for the haul. He quoted to me a full price of $850. They lie to you from the jump! So don't believe them if they say that the Trucker sets the price. They put the price in the computer! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! SCAM ALL DAY LONG!

The customer was fully aware of the possible additional charges, they chose to neglect it in the contract until it came to delivery. The broker fee of $170.00 appears in all contracts as an extra as well as other items. Why blame us for this customers negligence, he even said that our driver did a great job. The reason for the higher listing on the board is two fold, 1-truckers raise prices in between and the fuel goes up or they decide that they need more money, this is not up to us, paragraph #15 of the contract allows us to raise the price up to 250.00 additional and then email the customer after the car is picked up, which is exactly what was done. The $170.00 broker fee even appears on this site up at the top.
