I placed an order online for auto transportation services on 5/19 based on transport quote alone not knowing how the process worked. The quoted price put me at the very bottom of the list for the transport companies. My order would have languished there had I not tried to contact the company to find out when the vehicle would be picked up.
Communications with Rhonda after the order was placed was very difficult and I had to email/phone multiple times to get any response. When I did get a response it was "I need to contact dispatch". She finally suggested I call the "dispatcher", Dustin.
Dustin, I assume the owner of the company, finally explained to me that they were just the broker and the actual transport companies chose from a notional list of cars waiting transport along with the price of the transport being offered. He then went on to explain how transporting vehicles was like ordering pizza.
I cancelled my order shortly after talking to Dustin and found an honest broker who explained everything to me so I understood the process before I agreed to a price. My car was picked up within a couple of days and delivered within 7 days.
I appreciate when a company or their representatives are upfront about the services and costs of those services offered. Transport King and Logistics, LLC is not one of those companies.
