Company is very dishonest

Long story short, I booked with this company because they had the lowest quote. Big mistake. Initially they were prompt with answering the phone, and placing the order. Once the order was placed, I would call, leave messages, no response. Definitely not prompt with follow up. I was told by Teresa that she did not respond to my messages because Thursdays are her off days. Pretty bad if there is no back up. I paid the deposit via Paypal, even though the truck had not picked up my car. The truck never showed up. Teresa, the dispatch operator and the driver are all very dishonest as they made excuses as to why the driver never showed up for several days. Eventually I had to resubmit my request and use a more HONEST company. To date, I am still attempting to get my refund from this company as they are refusing. Below is an email exchange where Teresa contridicts why my truck was never picked up. I would highly recommend that autotransport stop recommending this company. They are deceitful and dishonest.

There will be no Refund and we will dispute it with the BBB we never broke contract.

Thank you, Teresa

Teresa,

your truck never arrived at 9764 Oxford Cemetary Road. If that were so, then the DRIVER would have seen for himself that the Pathfinder did not have two flat tires. Therefore you are contradicting yourself. Your driver called my mother in law at 11:00pm CST indicating that he needed her to come and get him from God knows where. I have spoken to my attorney and she has taken a look at the invoice that you sent me and we will be drafting a complaint letter with the BBB today as well as filing a claim in small claims court here in Tampa. I will then file for the full refund and additional damages. Your driver who does not work for your company but is independent will be forced to tell the truth that he did not arrive at my mother in laws home. I did tell you that she is 74 and my husband called his mother in law while I was speaking to you and she indicated that she did not tell that information to anyone. My husband also spoke to the driver as well.

I am trying to remain polite and amicable. Please return my $120.00.

We have it on our drivers phone log he called the contact person and his GPS log shows him there @ pickup and I was talking to you and you were telling your husband YOUR MOM TOLD THEM IT HAS 2 FLAT TIRES and you told me she is 74yrs old. I never said I called you MONDAY I said we would have it picked up Monday or Tuesday and you said that was fine but you booked this Monday with another company. Sorry there will be no refund.

That is not accurate. The truck did not arrive at my mother in laws home to pickup the truck. You were not told there was two flat tires the driver and dispatch spoke to my husband and my mother in law. You Never showed up to pick up the truck. And i did not receive a call from you on Monday. I will be disputing this if you do not return my funds.

We had a driver there to pickup the Pathfinder like we were hired to do,we were told it had 2 flat tires and that was not disclosed @ booking so we could not pickup . You then told us go ahead and try again, I told you it would be picked up Dec 12 or the 13 you said that was ok. Your Pathfinder is now listed with Spot on Auto Transport so there will be no refund. On your Terms and Condition you got when you placed your order, Line 14 states if it is cancelled after it has been dispatched there is a $100.00 cancellation fee and line 7 states if we get there and it is inoperable there is a $150.00 inop fee ( we are only keeping the $120.00 deposit and not charging the extra $130.00 ).You did tell us there was a dead battery and I oked that as drivers carry battery packs, we can't load a car that has 2 flat tires per the contact person @ pickup.. If you have any question feel free to call me @ 419-682-1975.

When this was booked customer did not pay upfront she did a echeck( Which we do not accept but I made an exception as she said she would not have money to pay driver when he delivered ) that would not clear till Dec 15 her Pathfinder was to deliver Dec 12 and we were told it may need a jump. Driver did arrive there to pickup was told Pathfinder had 2 flat tires it could not be picked up as driver did not have a winch. In her contract it clearly states it the driver arrives and the vehicle is not as stated, running she will forfeit her refund. Driver DO NOT work for FREE they have their gas and time involved. She did do a charge back but lost as it was found we did nothing wrong.
