My mom always said if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all. Well... I have nice things to say about Montway. Montway is awesome! Plain and simple. If you want it done, do it with Montway. I was working with a competitor (let's just call them XCompany) to get a car shipped from Buffalo, NY to San Jose, CA. I booked with XCompany on May 26th for a pickup on June 14th. XCompany said I needed to give them a 7 day window to pickup the car. I was scheduled to fly to San Jose on June 22nd. The truck never came and I ended up canceling my flight and move to the west coast. XCompany was initially charging me $1250. They kept telling me I needed to increase my bid because there are no trucks coming to Buffalo and other cars in the area have higher bids. No problem, I said name the price to get it done. They kept playing this bidding game with me. Make a $25 increase on Monday, $50 on Wednesday, $100 on Friday. Please XCompany!!!! Give me a damn price that will get it done. No bidding games. 9 days goes by and nothing from XCompany. This is now Monday June 23rd. After reading reviews about Montway on Uship and Transport Reviews, I decided to call them. Matt was the one who answered and I give him details about my experience with XCompany. I asked Matt to name a price that will get this done! He quoted me a price and told him I needed it done by Friday. He said he will get on the phone with dispatch and let them know my urgency. I get a call from the owner of XCompany the next day (Tuesday June 24th) and he's trying to convince me Montway is no good and their bid was horrible. I called Matt and he assured me they are doing everything they can. I told them I have confidence in them. A few hours later, I get a call from Paul letting me know a driver is two hours away!!!!!!!! Next thing I know, my car was on Ruben's (the driver was amazing as well! They are Quality Auto Transport) truck ready to go. My car was shipped in 19 hours!!!! NINETEEN HOURS!!!! I booked myself a one way ticket to San Jose on the next flight. Ruben said it would take 7 days for the car to arrive in San Jose. It came in 5 days. It was a pleasure doing business with Montway. Everyone was amazing there. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you again for all your help!!!
