As a large Ford Dealer in Austin Texas we have used hundreds of transport companies over the years and this was by far the worst experience ever! It started because a customer who lived in Georgia wanted to purchase a vehicle from us. A customer of ours referred us to the Transport Driver. We nornally use a different tranportation broker and after this experience, will never use a company we do not know again. The tranport driver damaged the vehicle on the trip from Austin to Atlanata. The damage was not the problem. We are an dealer experienced with issues such as this, however this driver made it vety difficult to settle manners between all parties. The vehicle being delivered was a 2013 Limited edition BOSS Mustang and the front bumper was damaged on the $50,000 Mustang. As the recieving party was tyring to make arragnements for an accepatable repair for the bumper the tranportation company no longer wanted to wait for resolution and left the delivery site with our vehicle on the back of his truck. Over the next two weeks, the transport driver would not make the vehicle available for delivery after numerous excuses. Up until 2 weeks after the inital delivery attepmt did the tranport have the necessary insurance adjuster do an estimate of the damage. The entire time, the tranport compnay sent us certified letters and demanded we pay storage and mileage fees. Two weeks after the failed delivery, the transport company demanded we pay $3965.20 for the delivery of the vehicle they damaged. Please feel free to call our dealership and ask any questions about this experience before you go through what we went through with this company.
