Damaged then Lied

Mr. Patrick Davis, the owner and driver of Buckner Enterprises LLC damaged my vehicle during the loading at the pick-up location. Afterwards he had the person at the pick-up sign some paperwork... "just sign here"... that turned out to be the Bill of Lading where Mr. Davis had added that the damage was preexisting. The person at the pick-up was an older senior citizen and it was dark. He never was told what he was signing... he trusted the driver to tell him what to do. He had never done this before.

Subsequently Patrick explained to me on the phone and in person and to a friend of mine at the drop off location (that happens to be a police officer) how he damaged the vehicle (the hood by the way), complaining that the pick-up location made loading difficult.

When I made a claim to his insurance company Mr. Davis lied and told them that he DIDN'T cause the damage. He lied and told his insurance company that there was no one but me at the drop-off despite the fact that I have photographs showing him, his truck, me and my police officer friend all present. Now he will not answer phone calls from me or from the broker that connected me with him.

His insurance company is choosing to go with the signed BOL as proof that they do not need to pay for the damage. I will be taking legal action against Mr. Davis and Bruckner Enterprises. The insurance company estimated $900 to repair the damage.

DO NOT TRUST BUCKNER ENTERPRISES or MR. DAVIS to treat you right or to do the right thing. BEWARE BEWARE.
