I was shopping around to transport my car from Baltimore, MD to Seattle, WA. While Capital Express was not the cheapest, I decided to just go with it. In hindsight, I should’ve done more research and I hope the reviewers of this web site are doing exactly that. Hopefully, my horrible experience will help you. Do NOT choose Blue Angels Express or Capital Transport!!!

I hired Capital Transport, who is a broker company that arranged Blue Angels Express to transport my car. Blue Angels Express driver (Nader) requested my car to be picked up a day early (Friday) but never called me back to confirm. This was annoying but fine. The next day, the driver finally called me after I called Capital Transport multiple times. The driver asked me to meet him at a truck stop. Although it seemed a little sketchy, my mom was available to follow my car to the truck stop to bring me back.

When I drove my car to the truck stop, it was in a perfect working condition. The driver performed a thorough inspection of the car and noted all pre-existing scratches, marks, etc…. I also took pictures of the car for comparison purposes upon arrival in Seattle.

My friend was nice enough to receive the vehicle in Seattle but when it arrived, it had a significant chip on the side of the passenger door, and the car would not start. The driver indicated that the battery was dead. I had a difficult time understanding this because 1) my car is not that old 2) my job requires me to travel 14 days at a time. My car has been known to sit around without any restarts for days in the last 2 years and yet, it all of sudden becomes a problem over the course of 9 days that it was en route to Seattle. Mere coincidence?

Okay, so batteries die. I get it. However, what was so disgusting was the driver’s attitude. Outside of his “Not My Problem” attitude regarding the battery, he adamantly swore that the paint chip on the passenger side was there prior to leaving Baltimore. I have pictures that prove otherwise. He was ornery, rude, unprofessional, and outright liar. Since I wasn’t there in person to receive the car, it was difficult to have the conversation with this onery driver. So, I finally gave up and decided not to press for damage reimbursement.

Finally, here’s the kicker. Capital Transport said I could load up to 125lbs in the car as I am trying to move myself to across the country, but when the car arrived in Seattle, Blue Angels Express driver told me I had to pay $50 for the stuff in my car. WTF.

I have transported personal cars across the country in the past, but this by far, was the worst! Blue Angels Express or Capital Transport suck. Do Not Use them!!!
