Quick Promises -No Customer Service

I scheduled transport of a vehicle from Tx to Ca . Discussed the need for a defined date of pick up and delivery with Mike Wilson,who gave me a hard sell. Such a great guy! I have done 8 corporate moves and am naturally skeptical and thought I knew what to ask.This guy completely flim flamed me. I have a hard copy of an email stating that my car would be picked up between 8/10 and 8/12 with delivery date of 8/14- 8/16. This was important as my son is a student and we would not be able to take delivery b/4 the 13th or 14th. After the sale I heard NOTHING. Today 8/6 I called the transport"co" that they gave me. They person who answered the call was not at a co office and said that "yeah, I 'm supposed to pick up a car I think Thurs or Fri?" Then he said that he would deliver the car on Sun 8/12. I explained that it wouldn't work as we will not be in LA until 8/14. "Okay "said he . "You can call your transport co." " I can either pick it up and deliver on Sun or you'll have to wait two weeks". I immediately called AA-Automovers and had the unfortunate experience of speaking to "Neil" who was initially abrupt and proceeded to become VERY RUDE. I explained the prob asking if they could help w/ it, possibly getting another driver. He stated that they had done their job and if I had anything else I was to contact my driver. Since I got the info from the "driver" I didn't see how that would help. Bottom line is that this "csr" hung up on me! I did not curse him out as some others have done, but certainly was persistent in my request. I can see how someone would curse at him. I am going w a different co and I am losing my deposit. $150.00 is worth it to me to not be treated in such an incredibly RUDE fashion by the "Customer Service Reps" ! DO NOT DO BUSINESS W THESE PEOPLE. I CAN"T BELIEVE THEY ARE STILL OPERATING!

We contacted Ms. Williamson's transport company and were told they could work with the customer's need for delivery of 8/14 or later. We advised the customer of this, but she refused their service anyway. Her statement of "'After the sale NOTHING." is not accurate as the email she refers to was sent after the sale. It informed her of the dispatch and the transport company's estimated pickup and delivery. We can't comment on her discussion with her transport company, we don't know what was said. We were told they would deliver 8/14 or later. As to our customer service policies, our representatives are permitted to end a call (with warning) when they are being cursed at or abused.
