Aug 2018 A1A, in short order, responded to my almost crazy low offer (Austin-Maine-not so lucrative route). posted at dispatch by Mercury Transport, a competitor. A young up and coming independent (Telman - "1st name"), one truck one driver in the A1A stable, proved transport. This team provided exemplary, straight forward, professional service. Telman was extremely personable and informative (as was Pete at Mercury). His truck and trailer were new looking and appeared to be well cared for. He kept me posted the whole way and was spot on with his timing and commitments. He willingly special loaded and altered terms and destination to accommodate my best interest. My truck arrived in perfect condition. All in All, these "fellows" provided a welcoming stress free experience. I give A1A 5+ stars for making this happen and without the fee, which, I assume, went to Mercury.
