My Daddy always said, "You can always tell the character of a man by the quality of his shoe shine," and my Momma' always said, "Honestly is always the best policy." Although I could not see his shoes, I immediately knew after Bill's responsive email and his follow-up telephone call, that I was dealing with a true Honest Joe. His initial e-mail provided me with a convenient list of the "do's and don't" of the transport process, which put me at ease. Instead of a slew of gimmicky "promises" such as "we have a truck in your area with just one more spot" or "$50 off if you book right now," I received a personal phone call from Bill himself with an honest assessment of what it would take to get my vehicle from Point A to Point B, which I not only appreciated, but, between you and me, was willing to pay a little extra for. Now that my vehicle has made safely it to it's destination and on-time, I am now confident in saying that I bet Bill's Sunday best are highly polished and spit shiny, too.
