I needed to ship my car from DC to the midwest. After googling a number of auto transport services and calling a few, I was very frustrated because no one with whom I spoke provided a clear explanation of the process, which seemed to me expensive and uncertain. Eventually I realized that I had not filtered out the compensated ratings and when I did that, Transport Connection was at the top, so I called. As the other reviewers noted, Bill himself answered the phone. If you have to ship your car, I strongly recommend that you also call Transport Connection for the following reasons:

1) You will work with Bill, who is personable, knowledgable, and clear. He is the only person who thoroughly explained the process and made it clear to me.

2) Bill kept me informed throughout the process and was completely trustworthy. It was difficult to get carriers to come to the DC area and he told me exactly what he was doing to make it work. He patched me in during calls with the carrier and also independently ensured that the carrier company was providing me with updates.

Overall, fantastic service during what can be a frustrating and confusing service.
