Corvette from MD to CA in record time

I am one of those guys that researches the heck out of anything - the kind that never buys a DVD player cause by the time I am done, there is a new model out. I bought my Corvette on eBay and decided to go with DAS, the recommended eBAy shipper, after getting numerous quotes in over a period of 2 weeks. The DAS quote was very high ($1800) but figured that since eBay recommends it, it has to be good. One of the companies that quoted very high pointed me to this review site - they had a pretty good rating off course. I was stunned at the horror stories I read about DAS and almost wanted to call that guy back and thank him for referring me to this site. How can eBay associate themselves with this company? So then, the search started all over again. I studied this site in detail and came to the conclusion that River City had the best rating 89/89 at 100% 5stars. Yes, there are others with a good record, say 398 out of 400, but that still means 2 bad ones. And then there are 100% 5stars with 10 ratings - I did not want to be the 11th guinea pig that has the bad experiece. My point, River City has the best rating, given the amount of listings. So I went with them. What a great experience, absolutely professional. Jeff is great guy and found me one of the best trucking companies. Pickup and delivery estimates were very reasonable but then they were able to pickup early and deliver early - I was very impressed. Great communication with the truck driver Larry as well. I can absolutely recommend this company to anyone. My was delivered as if it came out of a showroom, having just travelled from coast to coast.
