Do Not use Premier Auto Shippers

Premier Auto Shippers is a complete sham. Do not sign a contract to ship a vehicle through this company. Once they supposedly have your car assigned through the dispatch, they are done dealing with a customer. They will not call to inform you that things may have shifted on your timeline or that the shipment day has changed. Instead you stand around wondering if anyone will ever show to ship your car.

I am active duty military and needed to ship a vehicle. They knew I had to ship my vehicle by a certain date because I was literally leaving town on a Friday at 7am. Vehicle was supposed to ship between Mon and Wed the same week. No call from Premier on either Mon or Tues. Instead I had to call them to get updates. They were incredibly rude over the phone (like a poor used car salesmen) and were basically offended that I was upset that they had not contacted me to let me know there was going to be a delay in shipping my vehicle. They promised it would go on Wednesday. Then Wed came and went, and then they said it would ship on Thurs. Then Thursday came and went and I again called repeatedly until premier answered. At this point they tried to string me along again for a "we have another carrier who can ship it Friday." At that point I said don't bother and the next morning, on schedule, I left town and drove my 1991 Mercedes to Tucson AZ (my first stop across the county.

Fri afternoon while driving, I actually got a call from someone asking if my car wanted to be shipped, I said sorry, Premier was informed to cancel my order; I am now driving my car across country.

From Tucson, I made new arrangements to ship the vehicle with assistance of in-laws. United (the new company) did a great job, kept us informed of any delays or changes, and the service was fantastic. Unlike premier...who flat out sucked! I contact Premier to request a refund of my $150.00 deposit because of how bad their customer service was and for their complete disrespect to me (the customer). I make very good money, about $140k per year, so my issue is not the money, but is more out of principle.

Premier said they would refund my money and that it would take 7-10 business days. After that time period and the refund never posted (again, another lie and failure by Premier Ii contacted my bank and filed a claim. However, due to the wording in their contract, once the car has been dispatched to a carrier, there is now deposit refund. That being said, I expect a company with good business practice and that operates with integrity to continue to provide updates and keep paying customers informed. It is hard enough to move your family 3000 miles, especially in a hurry for military orders.

When they answered correspondence from the bank, they fabricated a complete lie stating that I said the "vehicle is running, and that when the driver showed, the vehicle was inoperable" and they even said in their statement, that I agreed to an increase in price of $1100." For starters, I would never agree to a price change for any reason, and they vehicle was operable because drove it 900 miles to Tucson AZ. There was no vehicle at pick up.

Premier Auto Shippers has shown themselves to be scam artist company. They just collect their $150 for coordinating a shipment, and then move on to the next victim. they don't care if your car ever ships or have the decency to contact you when timelines start changing. Had they just kept me informed, I could have made arrangements for someone to ship my car on my behalf from CA from the start.

For anyone who took the time to read this, feel free to contact me for more info. I strongly recommend shipping vehicle through anyone, except Premier Auto Shippers.
