Well, I get what I pay for. Shame on me. Going with the MOST TRUSTED. Should have paid a little more to get better service and communication. First according to their website , After a truck has been assigned/dispatched, we will email you a "dispatch notification" with the estimated pick up/loading date along with the trucker's phone number. The trucker usually calls a few hours ahead of delivery to notify you of his approximate arrival at your address. Special arrangements can be made upon request." Got the email at 9:42 a.m. 08/11/2021.Driver was at the location 10:45 a.m. Driver was less than accommodating when picking up vehicle. He called me after the vehicle was loaded(11:24 a.m.) and said because of the time it took to load the vehicle and how many times he would have to move my vehicle on his next pick ups (3 times), he wanted MORE MONEY!!!! I said , WHOA!I agreed to set amount at assignment and that is all he is getting. Was more worried about his next pick ups(3 more) than mine. Said he has to be in Orlando airport by a certain time Thursday evening. Complained throughout the whole process. When going to be delivered, 08/12/2021, called me at 12:55 p.m., to say he was going to be delivered at 6 p.m. He would call 1 hour out. 6 p.m. came and went, I was getting worried. Called him at 8:02 p.m. Asked if he was o.k. as it was over two hours later. He got an attitude, "I am 5 minutes away from you, don't worry" he was rushing me to get it unloaded to get the next one delivered and get to Orlando. Unloaded it , paid him, and he was gone. He left Forest Hills Texas at 11:24 a.m. 08/11/2021 and arrived at Palm Coast,FL,1078 miles ,08/12/2021 at 8:02 p.m. Next day, 08/13/2021, looked over vehicle for any dents scratches and here is what I found. before and after pics of same side will show rock chips and scratches . Truck was just painted on 07/22/2021 at a cost of 500.00 for the left rear quarter panel and two other areas. Will not recommend Montway Auto Transport. Go elsewhere, research, and take your time. Called the 888 number ,was on hold for 20 minutes, hung up. Then the driver, Lets call him Alex, called me yelling that I should have paid him more money and he was not responsible for the damage on the truck. Go elsewhere to look for a transport company, Montway does not vet their drivers for people skills.
