Rough Start, Great Finish

Shipped my car from California to NYC. My initial inquiry and order booking were done completely online via chat on Montway's website with a very polite, patient, and helpful chat agent. I opted to pay a little more with a one time payment instead of 2 payments (One to company one to driver). I placed my order approximately 1 week before I needed the car picked up on a Saturday. Perhaps they need more time to dispatch a driver, I didn't hear back from them for several days while they were looking for a driver. On the Thursday before my desired Saturday pickup, they called and said they would not be able to pickup until Monday (much to my disappointment, since would already be out of town). But I left my car with a friend and Montway accommodated a change of address for pick up. Driver was day late with pick up and finally got the car on Tuesday (3-4 days after my desired pick up). After that it was smooth. I had the direct cellphone number of my driver and was able to text message him in the final delivery address at a local business that had parking lot big enough to fit the truck. It took 6 days of transit time to get the car across the country ( Tues to Mon). The driver called the day before delivery and 1-2 hours before he arrived. My car arrived without any new damage, and as dirty as I would expect a car that just went across the country should be. So I wouldn't complain about that. Definitely would recommend a closed carrier for a nicer car. So despite the early frustration I am overall satisfied. Should I have called sooner or could more have been done by montway for an on time pick up? Who knows? But overall I would say I'm satisfied.
