*I used a broker called 4 Corners Transport out of Washington to transport my vehicle from Hawaii to Missouri. They subcontracted the delivery of the vehicle to EZH, Inc and I wish I had seen these reviews earlier! 4 Corners "recommended" EZH, Inc and it was a pain in the a&%. See my review of 4 Corners here - http://www.transportreviews.com/review/00223035.asp and I will condense my review of EZH, Inc to the relevant information about their company below*

....The delivery was the actual problem. I was told that the service included to the door - meaning my house, not some random cross street the delivery driver called me at when they arrived in my neighborhood. When the delivery driver (who is outsourced by 4 Corners, EZH, Inc is the delivery company) called to verify a time of delivery (12pm) about 9am that day, I verified that it would be delivered to my door as I could not leave my house/property for very long (I was the sole carer of someone hooked up to breathing machines at the house). No problem. I told them to just call when they got here and I would come outside to do the inspection. Fast forward to 12:30pm when the delivery driver called and said for me to meet them at a crossroads somewhere in my neighborhood. I was pretty upset as if I had known they could not deliver to my door when they called at 9am or that there was even a possibility of it not happening, I could have arranged someone to be at my house to take over watch but was not able to with only a moments notice. The delivery driver was incredibly rude - instead of offering options to make this work, he told me that if something happened to his truck going down my street, I would be responsible for damages. Fine. I called 4 Corners (as I was recommend to if there were any issues) and could not get a hold of anyone. Left 2 messages, phone rang and rang. Sent a quick email as well. Finally the delivery driver drove my car to my house and it was *dirty* but I was able to do the inspection. Delivery guy was rude, would not hand over the keys until I handed him payment thus I couldn't turn the car on to check to make sure everything was ok until that time. God only knows what would have happened if the car had issues since I had to pay to turn it on. Ellen finally called me back as I was finishing up the inspection and said per the invoice I was given, drivers may have to arrange alternate drop off points as they can't drive their truck in residential neighborhoods due to narrow roads, low hanging branches, etc

The direct quote from the invoice states - "Door to Door Service. Typically carriers will call 3 to 12 hours before they are able to pick-up your vehicle. At this time they will arrange the exact location where the vehicle will be picked-up and delivered. Every effort is made to provide door to door service. However, circumstances such as weight restrictions, overhanging trees, narrow streets, cul-de-sacs, and/or type of carriers equipment inhibit door-to-door service. Shipper may have to arrange to meet a carrier at a legal and safe location as close as possible to the "door" in order to facilitate the delivery."

Now, as I said earlier, if I had known at the first phone call that delivering to my house would be an issue (the delivery driver would have known by then - they know what kind of truck they are driving, if it can fit in residential areas, etc) I could have had someone take over for me. But the driver didn't follow through with the part about "At this time they will arrange the exact location where the vehicle will be picked-up and delivered." as I was told it would be delivered to my house.

The rudeness, inconvenience, lack of follow through, and overall lack of service from the delivery carrier makes me no longer recommend 4 Carriers as they didn't care either - they specifically told me they had worked with this company before and recommended them. They had my money so it didn't matter to them any longer.
