Tell you what you want to hear . . . . and that's about it

I needed a vehicle picked up at a dealer and moved to SC . . . . I called several companies and they were all on the fence about pickup and my mistake was listening to the sales lady at Direct Express Auto Transport when they said the route from MD to SC was a popular route and would have no problem getting it moved in the window I needed it moved in due to a planned business trip. Well, day after day I was told they were looking for a driver and finally when I asked point blank what the problem was, they said "Well, the route is not very popular and it may be a while". I asked if I needed to pay more and they danced around that issue saying it was my call but they would try to get it picked up for the quoted price.

I called another company and they looked up the order on the Central Dispatch board which all brokers use . . . and they started laughing in that there was no way a van would be shipped for less than a car was going for and they said it would sit for a long time before it was picked up at that price.

So the bottom line is that Direct Express Auto Transport talks a good game and under quoted what the realistic price shoudl be - and no, I did not pick the cheapest whcih says they are not along in the way the work to get customers.

Watch, the response from them will be the canned "We have a great reputation with the Better Business Bureau" which in most books means little . . . . . they stated they could move a vehicle for less than it would possibly cost, told me it would be picked up with 2-3 days and then continued to tell me it was on the verge of getting picked up when it was no where near moving from the dealer's lot.

Ask your questions BEFORE you get tied into an agreement to move with Direct Express Auto Transport . . . . or any company for that matter . . . . if a price seems to good to be true, well, you know the answer to that one no?

Our outstanding reputation including A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau speaks for itself. We are sorry that customer Andrew Sabich is dissatisfied with the service but he made his huge 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Base Cargo Van available only five days ago and cancelled too soon. Andy - you need to give big vehicles more time, especially when shipping to remote locations such as Seneca, South Carolina. We wish Mr. Sabich lots of luck in all his future endeavors.
