When I placed my order with Montway, I had no idea to whom they would assign the transport of my vehicle. Turned out it would be to Diesel Auto Express [DAE]. And once they did that, they wiped their hands. [I'll be leaving a separate review re Montway]. From that "assignment", Montway said "we earned our fee ... any questions you call DAE." Well, no communication from DAE until 3 days later when I received an e-mail stating the vehicle would be picked up within 3 days. Three days later, at 9:30 pm, I was called by the driver who said "meet me 6 miles away in 30 minutes." Okay, I thought this would be the end of the nightmare. Nope. 11 days later ... well beyond the expected delivery date ... I called asking where my car was. I was told it was in Vancouver WA, in the pound yard, which was locked [at 2 pm] and, no, I couldn't come and it get. After jawboning the rep on the phone, I was told they would drop the car off the next morning on a "special run". When the car arrived, it was obvious the fuel fill door had been replaced. They claimed it "flew off during transit and wasn't their fault." The part they used to replace it [and tried to hide from me] wasn't the proper part and hadn't been painted to match. Call the "boss". He talked to the driver. Agreed to take the car back and repair properly. The "boss" agreed to reimburse me $50 for an extra day's rental. Next day the car was brought back in satisfactory condition. Three weeks later, got e-mail saying "we declined your request for reimbursement." These are the people you'd be dealing with if you choose DAE.
