The move of our Lexus GS300 from Illinois to Washington actually went quite well. The people at Dependable Auto Movers (DAM) were quite honest and responsive, and the cost of the move was very competitive with other companies. I chose this company because they were located quite close to the origination point and were knowledgeable about having cars picked up in the area. They were up front in saying that it could be difficult to find a driver in that area, but found a small company in Spokane which picked up the car on time and pretty much transported it directly there. The small trucking company was a bit dicey to deal with (hard to contact) but held up their end of the deal in the end. It appears that they transported the vehicle on a relatively small flat bed truck all the way from Illinois to Washington! However, they delivered the car on time after it was stored on their lot for a few days for no charge. So although DAM was quite efficient, it is a bit of crap shoot as to the actual trucking company selected to move your vehicle.
